Child Exploitation 101 - January 24, 2024

This meeting explored child sexual exploitation.

The meeting objectives:
  1. Learn about the common types of commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC).

  2. Understand the risk and warning signs of child sex trafficking. 

  3. Explore the role of schools in providing a safe and supportive environment to the victims of sexual exploitation (clinicians role, school staff role, families role).

  4. Identify available local and national resources.
