This meeting explored the key elements of a safe and welcoming school environment and why building relationships is critical for feeling connected during distance learning.

The meeting objectives:
  1. Introduce key elements of promoting a safe and welcoming school environment.
  2. Practice an engagement strategy that can be used to build relationships with others interested in improving wellness of students, staff and families.
  3. Share evidence-based practices and other resources that can be applied by school teams to promote relationship building and enhance school climate.
