April DC CoP Meeting: Supporting LGBTQ+ Youth

Join the next DC School Behavioral Health Community of Practice meeting on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 9:00 to 11:00 am to learn about the mental health experiences of LGBTQ+ Youth in DC schools and explore the role of mental health providers and school staff in promoting the safety and well-being of LGBTQ+ youth.

The meeting objectives are:
  1. Discuss the mental health experiences of LGBTQ+ Youth in DC schools.

  2. Explore the Intersectionality of LGBTQ+.

  3. Discuss the role of mental health providers and school staff in promoting the safety and well-being of LGBTQ+ youth.

  4. Identify resources to support schools in promoting the safety and well-being of LGBTQ+ youth.
